Jogging Attempt #2, 2 or 3 Fast Steps,

I felt so good this morning.  I drank one liter of water before I ate anything.  I stretched, did some simple yoga and breathed deeply.

This jogging attempt was in the house, in my stocking feet.

I started by standing on my left foot, my weaker side.  I was able to take a running step with my right foot, pivoting on my left.  Then I was able to pull my left foot up and put it down again.  I will practice further in the pool.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Off Topic–But I Have to Say It

Intelligence develops between the ages of 0 and 3.  The television keeps the child from crying but does not develop the brain.  If you have a small child (age 0 to 3) do not let them watch T.V.  Repeat:  “DO NOT LET A CHILD BETWEEN 0 and 3 WATCH T.V.”

I have 2 kids.  Same MOM and DAD.  Child #1 watched T.V.  Then I threw the T.V. out and child #2 did not watch TV.  Child #1, who watched T.V., is a smart kid.  Child #2, who did not watch T.V., IS ONE OF THE SMARTEST PEOPLE ON THE PLANET.  He is in two high IQ societies, as well as the school sponsored “enrichment.”  He is only in elementary school, but can already communicate in 3 languages.

Do not let a child, age 0 to 3, watch T.V.

I just had to say it.

Tomorrow Water Walking and Water Jogging

Tomorrow I will go water walking again and I will try “water jogging.”  Any little gain I think that I can make I will take.

  1.  Anything.  Practicing my jogging while in the water.  Particularly to help strengthen my left side.  (My left leg)
  2. Drinking some of my water while “water walking” in the pool.
  3. Buying some blueberries and eating them on the way.
  4. Repeating to myself “I can jog…I can jog… I can jog…”
  5. Meditating in the morning and evening.

Anything.  Any little gain I take.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Can I See the Future?

When I was a little boy (age 7 or 8) I used to see myself as an older man walking with a cane.  Not too old, middle age.  I never saw myself in a wheelchair, though.

Today, I had an image of myself walking into a store and shaking hands with a friend.  Just like normal.

Am I seeing the future?  By exercising, avoiding sugar and drinking large amounts of water am I creating my future?

Concentrating on Meditation

Tonight, I will work on reaching the “alpha” level.  Per “You the Healer” by Jose Silva and Robert Stone, the “Alpha” level is where programming yourself for better health occurs.

Every day and in every way.

Tomorrow I will go water walking.  Lets see what else tomorrow brings.

Jogging Attempt #1 Could not Move

I felt so good this morning.  I stretched, drank 1/2 liter of water, did some very basic Yoga, did deep breathing, I felt so good.  I tried to jog just a step or two, just in the house, but I could not do it.

My left side is weaker than my right.  My MS was discovered when I had a swollen optic nerve in my left eye.  The effects of the MS have been more profound on my left side.  When I walk, if I drag a foot, it is my left foot.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Achieve My Goal or Die Trying

My goal is to be able to take a nice walk with my wife, holding hands.  I do not want to use a cane, a wheelchair or any kind of walking assistance device.  I do not want to take any medicine.

Hmmm.  Exercise will help to lower my blood sugar,  YOGA will help with breathing and balance.  Now that the weather is warmer, I will open my window, breathe deeply and do YOGA EVERY DAY.

Achieve my goal or die trying.

Good Day and a Good Story

I did my water walking today and got my exercise.  I followed my diet and drank my water.  ( Refer to this site http://www.watercure.com for the book and the doctor.)  Two of the benefits of drinking a large amount of water each day are asthma symptom reduction and weight loss.

When I was a little boy I was fat and had asthma.  I was on 2 or three pills each day for the asthma.  If I had an asthma attack at night, my father would take me to local Dr.’s house.  I would drink a big glass of water and then get a “shot”.

Now, I understand that it looks like all I had to do was  to stay properly hydrated.  Regular water drinking would have helped my asthma and my weight.  Anyone with asthma or weight problems should refer to this web. site.  http://www.watercure.com
