What Did I Achieve Today?

I achieved so many things today, but what do I want to talk about?  Simply put, I am on the right track.   With my YOGA and water drinking and avoidance of sugar and white flour, I am healing.

I have begun reading again a book called Cell-Level Healing by Joyce Whitley Hawkes.  My mind-body connection is just another arrow in my cure.

Big Day at the Gym Tomorrow, But I Had An Achievement Today….

Today, I ate unsalted nuts in the shell instead of fruit while at work.  I still ate blueberries , but I mainly ate pistachio nuts in the shell while at work.  I shelled the nuts with my tongue and teeth.  I buy nuts that are raw and unshelled so that I do not eat too many.  I do this to limit my saturated fat intake.  I eat nuts to limit the sugar in my blood.

Well, little by little I am healing.

I have a big day at the gym tomorrow.  Good night.

Another Step in the Right Direction…

I drank my water, repeated “I am healing”…”The scars in my spine are healing” …but what I also did was to purchase 3 big bags of frozen USDA organic berries from a wholesale warehouse.

A chemical in the frozen blueberries will help the scars in my brain heal, but the price I pd. for the frozen berries was about 1/20th of what I would pay for fresh, so maybe will eat frozen from now. 

I had an excellent day exercising and now I am lowering my blood sugar to help healing.

My Fruit Consumption for Today…

Using the book “60 Ways to Lower Your Blood Sugar” by Dennis Pollock, I have gone through a work day.  I have made small adjustments to my eating habits.

One adjustment I have made, is that I ate no bananas today.  The reason being is that banana is very high in carbs.  What I ate instead are kiwi, blueberries and an apple.

I think that cutting out banana and adding kiwi is a step in the right direction.

I have a big gym day tomorrow.

Fast Failure, but I did Take a Step Forward…

I have been reading

a book entitled “60 Ways to Lower Your Blood Sugar” by Dennis Pollock.

I just began reading this book and it is excellent.  Today, I took some advice from the book and purchased some raw, unsalted, nuts.  I have begun eating these nuts instead of a piece or two of fruit each day.

This is one way I will lower my blood sugar.

Another Try…

This morning, my daughter made me breakfast because she loves me.  I ate the breakfast and broke my fast attempt.  We ate an early dinner and I will try a 24 hour fast that will end tomorrow evening.

My children and wife are heading out tomorrow.  I will dispose of the breakfast that my wife leaves for me, I cancelled the lunch plans I had…this should bring me to about 6p.  My 24 hour fast.

Starting My Weekly 24 to 36 Hour Fast…

A 24 hour fast is easy.  Water only fasts have been done for religious reasons for years and years.  Tomorrow evening, if the family wants to eat out, I will happily join the family for dinner and break the fast.  If we are not going out to dinner and simply sitting down at home and  eating together, I will happily eat with everyone.

If we are not eating together, I will find some way to go to bed on an empty stomach and let my body heal rather than digest food.

More YOGA Moves…

I learned more YOGA today, YOGA that I do tomorrow and each morning as I drink my water.  I want to take advantage of the sleep time also, so I will not simply stretch, I will work on balance  with YOGA before I sleep.

Move Forward…

I have a good session scheduled at the gym tomorrow.  YOGA, water drinking and water walking.  Remember, every single moment of every single day, I am trying to make an improvement.

The family has a vacation scheduled over the Holiday.  I just thought of an improvement I cam make in preparation for the holiday vacation.
